Amerigo's students can choose to live in a fully-staffed residence alongside their fellow international students and 24/7 staff or in a warm and welcoming homestay, depending on their preference.

Homestay
Amerigo students who choose to live in Homestay residences live in safe, comfortable family homes in close proximity to our schools. Students also form lasting relationships with their host families.
Host families play a large part in students’ study abroad experience, as they provide and coordinate transportation, share meals together, support students in their English language learning and so much more.

What does homestay mean for international students studying abroad?
International students who choose to live in homestay are paired with a local family, who they live with in a safe, loving, welcoming home. Students are immediately welcomed into their host family, who play a large part in a student’s study abroad experience. Host families provide and coordinate transportation, share meals together, support students in their English language learning and so much more.
Many international students continue to keep in touch with their host families for years after they graduate, and even return to visit for holidays!
What is an international student residence like?
Amerigo’s fully-staffed residences feature a range of community amenities, advanced safety features and a prime location by restaurants, shopping and more. International students in the residence receive healthy meals, daily supervised study hours, in-residence university guidance and weekly cultural immersion activities.
How do I become a host family?
