Waring School is a small elite school for students in grades 6-12. With only 167 students on campus and a no-grades approach, Waring creates lifelong learners who consistently receive admission to top universities.
No Grades School
Teachers write detailed narrative evaluations as opposed to letter grades, which help fully reflect students’ strengths and growth areas. This system sets Waring students' college applications apart so that they are put into a separate category for detailed consideration.
Unique Liberal Arts and Sciences Curriculum
As a top high school in Massachusetts, students take a robust course load that includes French, Art and Music, STEM and Speech and Debate. The curriculum prepares students for top universities, including Harvard University, Yale University and Brown University
International Travel and Music Lessons Included in Tuition
Each year, students take part in a trip to Montreal, a French Exchange Program or a Junior Year France Trip, according to their grade. Additionally, students have access to private music lessons. All of these are covered in tuition.
